I am so amazed at how the Universe works. I take things personally when the Universe lines up experiences that I really do want to have. Deists would say that yes there is a Divine Presence but that it is remote and unavailable to us humans. If I have divine presence inside me, having been made in the divine's image and likeness, then the divine is very close; the kingdom is indeed in/at hand.
Now comes the question: how available is the mechanism to create? Unity states that we are co-creators with the divine. Is this true? I do create every time I think. I have physically created both with tools and with my own body. What is creation? ex nihilo? Astrophysicists tell us that in the microseconds after the creation of this universe there was so much energy was present that every substance we now have was created in that instant moment of **creation**. So, there is nothing new under the sun; only a re-distribution of the energy of that first moment substance. it would be principle, or first cause. There is no second cause, or is there? The shaping of the substance is due to laws, some of which we do know and understand, most of which we do not know and understand. We can speculate all we want, but we will never (?) know the laws. As soon as we have defined a law, an exception turns up to ruin the perfect rule.
If you are upset by all of this, then you are probably not comfortable with chaos and chaos theory. While I sometimes resist change in my personal life, I love the idea of chaos into order into chaos . . . .
There is a certain amount of rebellion in the theory that allows me to thumb my nose at those (mostly male) intellectuals and religionists who steadfastly believe in absolutes. I absolutely hate absolute ideas and actions.
