November 4, 2010

My body has been experiencing a sinus infection. The meds that I am taking, as well as the infection itself, have wiped me out. I was not able to help Karen set up the Holiday Bazaar at Church.

Today, I went outside for the first time since Sunday. The sun was shining and it was breezy, but warm. It was nice to feel the sun on my face.

I sometimes will watch "Ghost Hunters." I do believe in residual energy and stuck spirits. But the real reason why I like to watch that show is because it reminds me to live now while I am living. When I die, if my spirit or souls lives on, then it won't be in a manner that I can pet a cat, eat chocolate, or feel the sun shining on my face. I think that that may be why some spirits hang around: they miss all that the body was able to experience.

I have been asking the question: why did we spirits decide to inhabit bodies and why/when/how did we forget that we are indeed spiritual? By looking at the end of the body's life, I think that I understand at why we, spirits, became incarnated. Spirit seems to be limited from the senses. Now, I have another question: why is energy limited in this manner?
